Christopher Bailey, CPA

Christopher Bailey started Pines Accounting Services in January 2024. Chris worked in public accounting in Maryland for over 11 years before moving to North Carolina with his wife in August 2023.

Chris is a big believer that a good public accountant is much more than a tax return and financial statement preparer whose clients only hear from them once per year. He believes an accountant should be your most trusted financial advisor, who helps clients make important business and financial decisions. His job is to present clients with the most relevant financial information in an understandable way. He also aims to provide objective advice when asked.

Chris has helped many businesses of different sizes and industries. His goal is to help clients, and encourages his clients to take advantage of his knowledge by asking as many questions as possible. He believes many times people make bad financial decisions when they are not informed, or when things are presented in a confusing, technical manner. His goal is to simplify things and make it easier for clients to make good financials decisions.

Chris attended Frostburg State University where he earned a Masters in Business Administration in 2011. He became a licensed CPA in 2016.

Outside of the office, Chris enjoys playing guitar, playing cards, and running. He enjoys living in Southern Pines with his wife, Kal.

Chris is a duly licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of North Carolina and Pennsylvania. He holds North Carolina temporary permit number T14321 and Pennsylvania certificate number CA060839.
